The Lights of Christmas Presents… A Drive-Thru Christmas

During this challenging year, The Lights of Christmas wants to bring the joy and wonder of Christmas while creating opportunities for families to get out and make memories together.

After much deliberation, and consideration of all the details a socially distanced event would entail, it became clear having the walk-through festival with all the regular attractions wouldn’t be possible. It would be impossible to maintain current government safety standards for COVID-19 in the usual format. The Lights of Christmas is a Northwest tradition and our leadership team wanted to continue to fill the need for fun Holiday stability in the safest way possible. It was out of this desire the decision was made for The Lights of Christmas to present A Drive-Thru Christmas this year!

The drive-thru route is a little over a mile long and includes areas of the grounds at Warm Beach Camp which have not previously been part of The Lights of Christmas festival. Many displays are redesigned, and several new ones created to dazzle your imagination. All the iconic displays associated with The Lights of Christmas will still be included throughout the drive. Some of them may just be in new locations. It wouldn’t be The Lights of Christmas without the Larger than Life Nativity, Fireball Tree, Light Tunnels, and Bruce the Spruce the talking Christmas tree.

The famous hot-fresh mini donuts will be available for purchase! Kettle corn and hot drinks will also be for sale on site. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be here too! There’s even a spot to mail letters to the North Pole so be sure to write a letter to Santa before heading out. As you enter, tune your car radio to 101.9FM where Bruce the Spruce will be playing his favorite Christmas tunes.

There’s a new admission process this year. Reservations need to be made in advance by purchasing admission for a specific day and hour online through our new ticketing system. This ensures a limited number of cars in the event at any given time in order to provide the best experience for everyone.

Pick a date and time, purchase your admission, and plan your special evening out! Opening night is the day after Thanksgiving and the event runs for 26 select nights through December. Reservations open October 22 at www.TheLightsofChristmas.com.

We look forward to seeing all your cheery faces, through your car windows. Merry Christmas!
